One month, and the countdown is on...

If all goes as planned, one month from today I'll be walking across the stage at the AMBS commencement service, shake hands with the dean and president, and receive my empty diploma folder. Though I will have one practicum requirement to complete after the May ceremony, I am officially heading in to my FINAL month of seminary classes. In this month I have one minor and three major papers to complete, plus one exam. This will make for a busy time (especially since I'll be gone to Pennsylvania again for 5 days in a couple of weeks), but it should be doable. My thematic requirements are complete, I received a "high pass" with much congratulations from the faculty on my interview, and have got my final practicum pretty well in place. One of the most recent changes to my post-graduation plans is that I'll be completing my Elkhart General practicum in fall rather than summer as originally planned. This means that I get to have one last summer on the crew - so excited! I've also got a couple of volunteer opportunities lined up which I'm really looking forward to. I'm feeling at peace with how things have come together. My mantra this semester has been, "If God has called and prepared, God will provide," and I am discovering (yet again) that God can be trusted.

A quick update on Carrie: she had her MRI this week which revealed a small disk protrusion next to the vertebrae that was fractured. Rest and light exercise are the order of the day. She still has discomfort and needs to take it easy, but is on the mend. I'm just glad it wasn't anything more serious.

Good to hear (both how things are coming together and that Carrie's condition wasn't more serious)!
