When I was in Saskatchewan a couple of weeks ago my mom gave me a care package. She figured with the baby gifts I had packed on the way there I would have room in my suitcase on the way back. The care package includes one gift per week from now until I go home for Christmas. And week number 1 yielded a package of DAD's Goodie Rings!
One of the Canadian treats that I didn't realize I would miss until I didn't have access to them anymore. Last year Carrie and I looked in a couple of grocery stores for these cookies until we realized that they are an exclusively Canadian phenomenon. Thanks mom and dad! (and Carrie thanks you too!)
