Motivation...

I went to check my mailbox this afternoon and what did I find but two Systematic Theology papers. I nervously flipped to the last page of each to discover that I had received 10/10 and 46/50! Hooooray!

Here's the problem: any motivation to study for the final that was driven by my fear of not doing well on my papers is now out the window. I know I'm supposed to just want to learn for learning's sake, but any overworked and overtired seminary student knows that this isn't always the case. I like how my supervisor put it one day - you're in it for the union card!
