26 days and counting... This semester is wrapping up rather quickly, in some ways too quickly, and in other ways not fast enough. All I have left are my big projects, an exegesis paper and presentation, an integration paper, a final take-home exam, and one final 20 page paper and presentation. Then I'll also have a recital (private recital, class members only!) for my Soul and Voice class. 14.5 credit hours has been a lot, but I've learned that it is do-able. I've learned the importance of pacing myself, and of being aware of my limits and taking breaks when necessary. Sabbath-keeping has also been an important practice.
Yesterday I registered for fall and it's going to look very different than this year has. Though it's not finalized yet, it looks as though I will be doing 3 practicums!
It has been an exciting academic year, and it's not quite over yet.
As for other news, it was +30 C here today! Carrie and I walked to a Mexican ice cream shoppe this evening - it definitely feels like summer's around the corner. Tomorrow morning I am going to go and pick my garden plot in the AMBS community garden.
