My favorite little person...

I got to spend Thanksgiving weekend with my family in Hudson Bay - the first time since 2004! Guess who was the centre of attention?! In just a few months my nephew will have some competition with his new sibling, but for now he's happy to take it all in. Highlight of my weekend was having Levi come up to me, take me by the hand over to the toys, and say "ia play". (ia = Auntie Alicia)

Learning the concepts of simple machines and objects in motion from Uncle Andrew.

Quality time with Grandpa

Levi wanted his picture taken but this is as far back from the camera as I could get him.

The newlyweds

Levi turned 2!

Blowing out the candles

Opening his gift from Auntie Carrie and Auntie Alicia

Unwrapping his gift from Grandpa and Grandma - he was so excited that there were ABCs on the box!

True to form, Levi pulled the gift out and then went straight for the box.

Rocking horse built by Grandpa

Carrie and I bought Levi some pots and pans, and Carrie sewed him an apron.

Oma, giving Levi some cooking lessons.

Cowboy Levi, sportin' Uncle Andrew's old hat. You can see why he's my favorite little person, can't you? :)
