Winding down...

I guess as my time in Indiana winds down perhaps my blogging here on "The Life and Times of a Mennonite Seminarian" will as well. My aim when I started this blog was to write at least once/week to give friends and family members a glimpse into my seminary life, and I've been pretty faithful to that aim until now. I wonder what my next blog will be...

I have been busy with my fall schedule of hospital practicum, Pathways internship, GPC practicum, and maintenance work. Last weekend I was in Pittsburgh for a GPC practicum weekend which was excellent! We're in the process of figuring out what my continued GPC training will look like from a distance.

Carrie and I are beginning to think more and more about the upcoming move - 35 more days. AAHHHHH!!! We're still very excited about the place we're moving to in Winnipeg. Neither of us have ministry positions waiting there for us, but we both feel strongly that Winnipeg is the place to which we are being called. On Sunday our pastor preached a sermon on the parable of the talents and that we are called to be risk-takers. Carrie and I just looked at each other and smiled. Yup, our move to Winnipeg is definitely a leap of faith.
